Sara von Susan is a wonderful 3-4 year old Shepherd mix on the smaller side.  Gentle and personable, this girl loves being by your side; even when you are working on your IPad, she opts to lie close by and either nap or play with her ball.  Her favorite sport is “catch,” where you exercise your pitching arm and she uses her mouth as a mitt.  Her low-to-mid energy level makes her a relaxing companion and also a good walking buddy.  House-trained Sara has interacted with pre-teenage children and lives with a male Retriever in her foster home.  She’s quite the people-pleaser and is quick to bat her eyelashes and roll over for a belly rub in order to win your favor.  Sara is the perfect family dog (as long as you don’t have cats)
